21 and over
Paris Syndrome returns with a special tribute to Neue Deutsche Welle, a genre of German music spanning the late 70s to early 80s. NDW was influenced by punk and new wave and quickly developed its own playful, experimental sound, giving rise to such groups such as Malaria!, Abwarts, D.A.F., Liasons Dangereuses, Grauzone, Xmal Deutschland, Andi Arroganti, Die Krupps, Einsturzende Neubaten, and more; some of which had an undeniable impact on early industrial and techno.
Come dance to the best of German new wave and post-punk with DJs Amanda Siegel, Olive Kimoto, and Reichel Hertzler, alongside some of our usual sprinklings of 80s French and Japanese tracks.
Bis dann! See you on the dance floor!
