Black Uhuru is a roots reggae group, first formed over 50 years ago in Kingston, Jamaica. Although going through numerous lead singers and musicians they have remained to be one of the most recognized and prolific reggae bands, and the first to win a Grammy. Derrick “Duckie” Simpson is the founder and leader of the group.
Dave Noonan’s Green Island is a collective of some of the Pioneer Valley's best musicians. The band plays a wide variety of music such as reggae, ska, Afrobeat, jazz and funk.
Belgium-born Tina Sureda Castello aka ONESTY began writing music at the age of 8. As a teenager, she was a fixture in the underground hip hop, reggae, dub and dancehall scenes in Antwerp before focusing her attentions solely on reggae.
