Students will learn how to perform short movement phrases in dance as it applies to musical theater and will rehearse group and solo numbers that can be used for performance in revue or variety show productions.
About the teacher: Heather-May is a teacher and performer who came to Key West from New York City in 2009. She danced with Stanley Love Performance Group and other NYC choreographers at venues including Dixon Place, Judson Church, The Tunnel, The Kitchen, and Location One, and has performed in Key West at The Waterfront Playhouse, The Red Barn Theater, Tennessee Williams Theater, TSKW, Bourbon Street Pub, Aqua, and 801 Cabaret as a founding member of Applebottom Burlesque. She attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts as an undergraduate Dance major and has a Master's Degree in Education.
