Dubbed “the best Beatles tribute on Earth” by Rolling Stone magazine, you won’t want to miss the concert of the summer. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket and enjoy the iconic tunes of the Beatles on the Sun Valley Resort Cottage Lawn. 1964 recreates the early ‘60s live Beatles concert with period instruments, clothing, hairstyles, and an onstage banter with an accuracy that is unmatched.
The Concert for Cancer Research is produced by the Killebrew-Thompson Memorial, a Sun Valley non-profit organization that raises funds for cancer research through a two-day golf tournament, auction gala, and benefit concert. The Concert brings together members of the Wood River Valley and visitors to enjoy world-class music while raising funds to find a cure for cancer. Proceeds from the event fund life-saving cancer treatment and research at St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute in Idaho and the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota.
