This concert is part of the Mechanics Hall Summer Music Festival

Father-son two-piano duo Roy and Kristjon Imperio join with organist William Ness to present an unusual array of repertoire featuring technical fireworks on the Hall’s two Steinway concert grands that are only possible with the exquisite craftsmanship of the Imperios.

Program:

Saint-Saëns - "Carnival of the Animals" (with orchestral accompaniment on the Hook Organ and narration)

Holst’s "The Planets"

Finzi’s "Eclogue"

Brahms’ Variations on a "Theme by Haydn" (you’ll be humming it all the way home).
