Envelop's open-source software platform Envelop for Live (E4L) is designed to help non-programmer musicians bring their compositions and performances into a spatial environment. In this workshop we will show you how to use Envelop for Live to create music that uses space as a dynamic compositional element. Within the 32 speakers at Envelop at The Midway, participants will be able to use one of the best spatial audio system in the world to experiment with and learn from. This workshop is taught by Christopher Willits, musician, artist and educator with over 17 years of experience teaching complex creative topics.
