The Love Me Nots

What I felt the first time I heard ‘The Girl Lights Up’ is the same thing I felt the first time I heard ‘X-Offender’ by Blondie, ‘Just What I Needed’ by The Cars, or ‘Manic Monday’ by the Bangles. The song is a masterpiece of perfect pop that will stand the test of time. The Love Me Nots have achieved something very special - all of the essential elements to be accepted by the masses, while still being cool with the underground.

- Speedie John Carlucci (The Speedies, The Fuzztones, The Beat Killers)

Based in Phoenix but produced in Detroit by Jim Diamond (White Stripes, Electric Six, Dirtbombs), The Love Me Nots are made up of the purrs and howls of singer-organist Nicole Laurenne, the raunchy guitar work of Michael Johnny Walker, rock-solid bass lines by Kyle Rose Stokes, and the furious pounding of Jay Lien.
Formed in 2006, the DIY band has released four full-length albums, gone into heavy rotation on Sirius Radio, charted in the CMJ Top 100, had tracks placed on television shows and compilations, saw the European re-release of its entire discography, toured Europe three times, and maintained a consistent touring schedule throughout major cities all over the United States.

Jed's A Millionaire

R. Shawn Harrington, lead singer and songwriter, was discussing music with his brother Rob. "You just need your guitar, some inspiration and a little luck and next thing you know... Jed's a Millionaire!" "Not the most inspirational band name story," allows Shawn, "But I like to think the creativity is reserved for the music."
Four albums and hundreds of shows later, Jed's a Millionaire is no temporary success but a tenured band at the height of its powers.
Jed's a Millionaire is indie rock with soul. Leaving behind the band's desert rock origins, JAM now casts a wider musical net; setting crisp layered guitars and keys on driving pop rhythms. JAM's soaring melodies propel Harrington's personal and unabashed lyrics of passion, heartbreak and hope. Twin guitars lead the way while stark piano and swirling organs complete their modern yet classic sound. Shawn was voted Most Enjoyable Singer by Phoenix New Times and his earnest delivery and familiar tones remain the lynch pin of the band's sound.

The Persuaders

The Persuaders are a five piece Rock ‘n Roll Band from Tempe, Arizona. In the mid- 90’s several bands in Tempe, Arizona played Mill Ave., until the record companies came calling from Los Angeles.
Some of those bands were The Gin Blossoms, The Pistoleros, Roger Cline and the Peacemakers and DeadHot Workshop. The Persuaders are a group comprised of members of each of those bands.
Lawrence Zubia – Vocals Guitars/Pistoleros, Scotty Andrews – Bass Guitar/Pistoleros, Jim Swafford – Guitars Vocals/Gin Blossoms, Roger Cline and the Peacemakers, Phillip Rhodes – Drums/Gin Blossoms and Thomas Laufenberg – Guitars Vocals/DeadHot Workshop, Pistoleros.
The Persuaders have done things a bit backwards. For the last 2 years the Persuaders have gotten together to write and record a 10 song record without ever having played out. Now that the record is recorded and a live set and show is complete the Persuaders are venturing out on a steady round of bar and club shows in and around Tempe, Arizona and the Southwest.

Collectively the members of the Persuaders have sold millions of records, traveled thousands of miles, played thousands of shows and have made it back home to Tempe. We look forward to playing some guitar driven rock ‘n roll for you somewhere, soon. Thank you. The Persuaders.
