Adrien Reju is a Woodstock, New York-based singer-songwriter who has been described by the press as "timeless" and "compelling" with "Renoir good looks", and endorsed by her peers including singer-songwriter Rachael Yamagata who says she "is like a bird from another planet who can see directly into your heart". With classical training in piano, guitar and percussion, Reju has evolved into an artist who cares deeply about what she creates, from the composition of her songs to the way in which she delivers them to her fans.
Drawing inspiration from influences as diverse as Dolly Parton, Led Zeppelin, Paul Simon and her parents (both classical musicians), Reju has created her own unique brand of indie-folk-retro-pop with indelible melodic hooks. Her clear, warm, lilting Patsy Cline-esque voice is what listeners hear first, but it is her songs with their classic old-soul quality that draw them in and leave them wanting more. In her lyrics, Reju confronts life head-on exploring the many facets of the human condition, often looking for the light in the darkness, the ease in the difficulty, and the beauty in the complexities of human relationship, ever searching for what unites us all.
To date, Reju has released one full-length studio album, A Million Hearts, and one EP, Lucky Ones. She has toured the U.S. and Canada appearing as an opener, singer and band member with artists including Rachael Yamagata, A.C. Newman (The New Pornographers), Neko Case, Amos Lee, Gillian Welch, Linda Rondstadt and David Bromberg. Her song "Heartless" was featured in the opening credits of the Hallmark movie Flower Girl, and "All To Myself" has been in regular rotation on such AAA radio programs as WXPN's World Cafe with David Dye and KEAO's The Time Machine with Michael McCartney.
Wild Rompit is an indie/folk/rock group that consists of four Jersey boys that met at Drexel University in February of 2010. Since then the four friends have been moving quickly, diving deep into the Philly art scene playing all over the tri-state area and becoming recognized as a talented up and coming band. Recently they released their first EP “Stampede” and plan to release their second EP “Bro...therhood” in mid-April. Wild Rompit brings an original sound that is inspired by early rock and roll with a taste of alternative. It is best said that Rompit is a “call from the wild,” each song bringing something different to the listener.
Forlorn Strangers is a Nashville, TN Americana quartet hailing from the great states of Florida, Maryland, & Minnesota.
