Classical Revolution Delaware

Classical Revolution Delaware

Classical Revolution (CR) was founded in 2006 in San Francisco when several former and current San Francisco Conservatory of Music students met at Revolution Cafe for a public chamber music reading session. Since then, CR has presented 900 chamber music events in the San Francisco area and has spread to other cities including Seattle, New York, Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Washington D.C. and Toronto among many others. The goal is to present high quality chamber music performances in locations for the general public. Participating musicians are from a variety of backgrounds – major symphonies, university music programs, concert touring circuit and amateur circles – who view CR as an outlet to express their love of chamber music.

Pianist Julie Nishimura is establishing a chapter here in Wilmington after participating in a session in San Francisco and Hal Real has offered World Cafe Live as the home for Classical Revolution Delaware.
