Home And Away

Strange how some bands are formed.

Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Home & Away was formed through a bit of luck after years of crossing paths randomly. Once guitarist/vocalist Evan Murray and vocalist Bryan Casselman discovered their common past of growing up in Kansas City, years of experience in the KC local music scene, even being at the same shows and never knowing it, they instantly formed a strong friendship as well a talent for playing off each others' individual writing talents.

Enter bassist David Fernandez and drummer Adem Sibic; high school friends who had wanted to play music together for a long time. Accidently stumbling on a craigslist ad that Bryan had posted, it was clear there was chemistry and a potential for good friendship and good music.

The band began recording and playing several shows but struggled to find a fitting lead guitar. Finally, while having a handful of friends over at his house one night, Evan introduced Dan Bradbury (of whom he had be friends with for a couple years after recording some of Dan's solo music) to the rest of the band who happened to be there. After hearing the music and getting to know the guys, Dan offered a hand in filling out the band.

Now with high energy guitar melodies, provocative dueling vocals, upbeat rhythms, and enthusiastic synthesizers, this StL group is pushing the limit and making headway in St. Louis' local rock music scene.

So come to a show, have fun, sing along, hang out, and make some friends because to Home & Away, it's all about fun!

Coming together in the halls of Humber College's music department in 2009, JUICE has quickly become an established act in the Canadian music scene. Drawing influences from classic soul and R&B and combining them with the modern sounds of indie rock and hip-hop, JUICE has created their own musical style. Releasing their debut EP "Nine Nineteen" in September of 2011 along with a live EP "JUICE Live at Clinton's" in early 2012, the band's music has been featured on a number of radio stations such as Jazz FM, CIUT FM, New Beat Generation Radio and Fusion Radio. After posting a link to their Bandcamp page on a Reddit article in September 2012 JUICE went viral, racking up over 45,000 plays in a week, which catapulted them to the third best sellers overall on Bandcamp and the best sellers in the rock genre. Since their tidal wave of online support, JUICE has gained over 14000 Facebook fans and countless positive comments and posts from new followers.

JUICE's live show has taken them all over Ontario, performing at The Beaches Jazz Festival, The Burlington Sound of Music Festival, Toronto's Indie Week Festival as well as headlining a number of University events including The Head of Trent in Peterborough and The University of Waterloo's Canada Day festival. Their live performance has been praised by several different media sources, including The Waterloo Chronicle, Velvet Rope Magazine and TheNewHalifax.ca. The band's live show has also earned them a spot as a featured artist on LivemusicTO.com and as a crowd favourite at the Beaches Jazz Festival selected by BlogTO.
JUICE is currently putting the finishing touches on their debut full length album titled "Hit The Ground Running" scheduled for release in July of 2013. The band has organized their release tour along with a number of festival appearances and other special events for the summer of 2013. Keep in touch with JUICE at facebook.com/youloveJUICE.
