STOLAR is a unique creative force. His powerful voice is unforgettable, he writes signature, emotionally charged, melodic songs, plays a host of different instruments and performs with an energy unrivaled in many of today's live artists.
The last year has seen marked growth for STOLAR. He produced and independently released a new single called "My Own Way", which made its debut on SiriusXM’s preeminent pop station Hits 1 and the music video for which garnered over 538,000 views on Youtube. He was a finalist for the international songwriting competition in 2015 alongside Vance Joy and Kimbre, and currently has cuts prepared for release on Sony/Epic, Universal and Armada Records. He has achieved licensing success on networks such as The CW and MTV and he recently concluded a successful tour with an advanced sold out show at New York City's Gramercy Theater.
At his heart, STOLAR is a soul singer bar none; however, his music boasts an unmistakeable pop sound and sensibility placing him somewhere between Bruno Mars and Sam Smith. Keep an eye out for his brand new EP which he recorded with the Spotify viral charting and in-demand production duo, Take A Day Trip.
Margaret the King
The band was created by Dario in June 2011 and is from the San Francisco Bay Area. The band began practicing in a tiny shed, then later moving into a warehouse. We like to think our music is on the soulful side, with an indie twist
Hidden in the Sun
Once the music department faculty at a performing arts camp, Hidden in the Sun was eventually formed from years of late-night jamming and writing sessions. Each member bringing their own musical influences into the mix has created a collective sound that borrows from rock, blues, folk, and funk. Listeners often comment on the soulful raw power of Lizzie Clapper's lead vocal, and the tight musicianship of Ciara McAllister, Sean Alexander, and Scott Rouse. Joining them is George Lacson (John Lee Hooker Jr., The George Lacson Project) on bass.
