Jay Stolar

Jay Stolar is a soul singer with an arsenal of heart gripping songs. His live performances hark back to the early days of R&B, when it was an artist's job to connect to every person in the room. He is a deeply influential player in the New York City music scene.

In 2012 Jay ran a 24 week residency at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, showcased at both SXSW and CMJ, toured nationally with singer-songwriter Charlene Kaye, placed his song “Like You Do” on The CW Network's 90210, and completed production on his debut album.

Jay is now represented by Michael Morrison at Wanduta Management (Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds), New Frontier Touring (The Avett Brothers, John Oates), and Barry Perlman Esq. (Lenny Kravitz, Ben Harper). His album is expected to be released in the Spring of 2013.

“Stolar's days underground would appear to be numbered. Forget The Voice, forget The X Factor... your next great American singer is right here.” -

Margaret the King

The band was created by Dario in June 2011 and is from the San Francisco Bay Area. The band began practicing in a tiny shed, then later moving into a warehouse. We like to think our music is on the soulful side, with an indie twist

Hidden in the Sun

Once the music department faculty at a performing arts camp, Hidden in the Sun was eventually formed from years of late-night jamming and writing sessions. Each member bringing their own musical influences into the mix has created a collective sound that borrows from rock, blues, folk, and funk. Listeners often comment on the soulful raw power of Lizzie Clapper's lead vocal, and the tight musicianship of Ciara McAllister, Sean Alexander, and Scott Rouse. Joining them is George Lacson (John Lee Hooker Jr., The George Lacson Project) on bass.
