Scattered Hamlet

Scattered Hamlet is a Los Angeles based rock band started by former 286 front man Adam Joad. With the demise of 286, Adam Joad solicited the help of producer Ari M. (Destrophy/Victory Records) and set out to create a sound that captured the essence of growing up in the country while giving a nod to his classic rock and outlaw country favorites. One part Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet and capturing modern rock elements from Down to Buckcherry, Scattered Hamlet has been described as having something for all true hard rock fans. Lead Guitar player, Clay Davies, describes the band's sound as, "Rock and roll, metal, Southern Mayhem."

With the addition of Clay Davies [Nick Black] on guitar, Jeremy Cole on bass and Kenny Dale on drums, Scattered Hamlet has turned into a heavily anticipated project as a result of early demo leaks and word of mouth. In less than a year, SH has played world class venues on the Sunset Strip, made appearances on Van's Warped Tour 2010 and has captivated 'Outlaws' through regional touring.

Constantly growing as a band, Scattered Hamlet has a blue collar approach to playing music, interacting with fans and picking the topics they write about. According to Joad, "This is the type of music you want to listen to when you're drinking whisky, riding your Harley on the open road or hanging out with your friends --- we have fun making it and we want people to have fun listening to it....I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time."
