Tall Fires, Unruly Things, The Beggars Who Give, Stomping Grounds

Tall Fires

This band makes Rock. And Roll. Doing so: Frank Cupido (guitar), Ian Halvorsen (bass), Matt McGowan (drums) and Caleb Garling (guitar/vocals).

Unruly Things

Unruly Things are for those who travel the winding roads across the plains, down the mountains, in the light of the day, through the dead of the night to the small towns, to the bright lights of San Francisco and New York, and everywhere in between.

The Beggars Who Give

The long and short of it, ha, is that this project was formed initially by Tim Wilkins and Yoel Bibas with a desire to create some music and spread some love. As this process continued we found two more rad dude's that wanted to join the cause, ("the pharaoh of funk" Mark Davis and our bassist) the result of which is what you see here. If you dig the tunes, our one request is that you tell a friend.

Stomping Grounds

The Santa Cruz-born band Stomping Grounds is still in it's infancy (they formed in May) but they call on classic rock and Motown blues for inspiration. The group is headed up by brothers, Antonio Anzaldua on guitar/vocals and Lorenzo Anzaldua on guitar. They are backed by Matt Howard and Judd DiSalvo, who provide a funk-heavy rhythm section. Antonio has a youthful, yet raspy voice that nails down the genre on songs that pay homage to the music of Gary Clark Jr., Soulive, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix.
