Halloween w/ The Howling Hex - Dress in costume and get in for $7

The Howling Hex

Recreating himself after Royal Trux was easy (and messy and full of near-death experiences) for Neil. Master of his own fate from the get-go, our Great White Hope swaggers and staggers into the streets a man among boys, a tenor dripping heartache and the life of a thousand years to make fertile souls swoon. That Virginia soil obviously sprouts more than tobacco and ain't we lucky for it!

The Howling Hex are back in town, mile-high style this time! New Border Funk has packed up and headed north, both geographically and in terms of tempo. Tightly compressed songs, alien guitar textures, wild high spirits are all ringing out in the big town; square-state rock at it's far-flung best!

Strange Americans

Strange Americans formed in 2010 and began writing music deeply rooted in Americana, while remaining true to an innovative spirit. Classic guitars, an energetic rhythm section, three–part vocal harmony and tasteful folk colorings paint the soundscape of A Royal Battle, the full–length record released June 2012. The band was featured at Denver Day of Rock and the UMS in 2011 and 2012, joined The Knew for the annual Knew Year's Eve 2011, and appeared at Facemans Waltz 2012. Strange Americans has shared the stage with acts including Yukon Blonde, Trampled By Turtles, Cory Branan, The Fling, Air Dubai, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, and Nick Urata (DeVotchKa). A Royal Battle was recorded with Grammy Award-winning engineer John Macy and the band is featured on Altitude TVs On Stage.

The Belle Jar

The Belle Jar is the project of Ryan James, a singer-songwriter based in Denver, Colorado.

After several years of living and playing in southern California, Ryan returned home to write and record Fall Systems Go, the debut LP. The album was recorded in a combination of houses, churches and hotel rooms over the course of two years.

Ryan sang and recorded all of the instruments on Fall Systems Go. He has now teamed up with Conan Bliss (on drums) and Matthew Vermillion (on bass guitar) for live performances.
