Hopi Astronaut

Born in the crucible of debauchery that is San Francisco; introducing the band yer mama would've warned you about, had she been in the know.

John Wayne Bro

Clutching the remnants of lyrics and prose from the typewriter, Sam and Taylor rented out a hot, crowded rehearsal space overlooking Downtown Los Angeles and enlisted the help of Austin born lead guitarist, Justin Charbonnet, and Seattle refugee, Ryan Anderson, on bass.
Early in the process they decided that the band’s name should be John Wayne Bro. The name is an homage to Taylor's Great Grandfather, the renowned Swedish naval captain who was swept away at sea while serving in the Royal Swedish Navy, and whose real name was, in fact, John Wayne Bro.

The boys spent months creating their version of “American working man music.” Since their time lost at sea, John Wayne Bro has released the full length LP, "Man Of The People," and a subsequent EP, "Velociraptor." Currently they are working on a follow-up LP due out early '2013. John Wayne Bro’s songs have been described as an evening where the Rolling Stones, Tom Waits and Howlin’ Wolf found themselves riding in a limo and were kidnapped by Gram Parson's and the Stooges, forced to take psychedelics, dance and play by the fireside for their amusement.
