Quickserv Johnny

Eastwood formed in the spring of 2005—a product from the hearts and minds of founding members Kevin Minihan and David Heidle. But the foundation of Eastwood was formed years prior, when the two friends would often find themselves at a party or a friend’s house with guitars in hand, writing songs that lent themselves to the duo’s natural chemistry and intertwined vocal harmonies. They gathered a handful of original songs to record Eastwood’s well-received debut album 'Die Tryin' with local producer Salim Nourallah.

In 2008, with a couple years’ worth of live shows under their belts and armed with a more mature level of songwriting, Eastwood rejoined Nourallah in the studio to record 'Everything’s Personal.' The album included guest appearances from several local music luminaries including members of the Old 97’s, Sorta, Radiant and Nourallah himself. With this album, Eastwood reached beyond its country roots and nurtured a more eclectic sound, while not straying from their formula of heartfelt lyrics and strong vocal harmonies. The band performed regionally in support of the album and shortly thereafter went on a brief hiatus.

Fast forward to the present and Heidle and Minihan are back with returning drummer Todd Unruh, plus the addition of members Marc Daigle on guitar and Alex Bradbury on bass. With this revamped lineup, Eastwood is playing live again with the focus on great live shows throughout North Texas.
