Project 86

Project 86 to Release New Studio Album Wait For the Siren August 21, 2012 "The first time I walked on stage to perform it felt foreign, other-worldly. The freedom I felt was powerful. We were part of an underground movement that took hardcore and made it accessible. With the new album, Wait For the Siren, I wanted to pull from a similar place emotionally while integrating new sounds, new instruments and new collaborations." Schwab called on an all-star lineup of musicians to join him in the studio and bring his vision for P86's 8th album to fruition. The new album features Andrew Welch (Disciple), Blake Martin (A Plea for Purging), Rocky Gray (Evanescence), Cody Driggers (The Wedding) and guest vocal appearances by Bruce Fitzhugh (Living Sacrifice), and Brian "Head" Welch (Korn, Love and Death). To help steer the recording process, Schwab also tapped Nashville producer Steve Wilson (Juliana Theory, Jonezetta) and engineer/mixer Steve Blackmon (The Showdown, Hank Williams Jr).

Best friends Josh and Eli shared the same idea: to start a group devoted to help those struggling with pornography addiction and finding a way out in Jesus Christ. With a heart for change, and a passion for healing those who struggle with this lust that has been shunned in society and dismissed as an issue, they decided to run full speed with help from their friends, Jake and Chris. We dont care about popularity and what sounds are hip, but instead focus on our goal to bring honest talks to honest issues in hope of finding honest peace about our imperfections.

We are a melodic metalcore band from Rohnert Park, California formed in 2012. All of our members are in high school, except for our new lead vocalist. We write all of our own music and lyrics. We enjoy long, beautiful walks along the beach, drinking Tea and making others headbang. Hit us up. We'll play a show for you 😉
