He goes simply by "Nick" and there are no gimmicks necessary... he is a true student of the arts. At 23 years young, the up and coming pop-star's impressive list of talents include songwriting, singing, acting and dance. Yet he is focused. And having dedicated the past few years specifically to his vocal artistry, Nick is ready to show off his craft to the world.

He spent much of his childhood and teenage years penning lyrics. "My band was pretty much the most exciting thing in my life when i was a teenager," Nick says.

Simultaneously, as a trained dancer, Nick would shuffle between New Jersey and New York City where he would tirelessly complete 10-hour rehearsals while auditioning for acting gigs on the side. After graduating from high school, Nick accepted an offer to dance at the prestigious Carolina Ballet and moved to North Carolina.

Not one to turn his back on his passion, Nick continued to record music and performed at some of Carolina's open mics. His dedication had paid off when he went to win the North Caroina Songwriting Contest.

From there, a slew of opportunities arose. Making the tough decision to hang up his ballet shoes, Nick retired from his lifelong dance career and headed down south to Atlanta, Georgia. Once again, he picked up open mic opportunities, building his buzz one audience at a time.

The brightest stars are never overlooked; as is the case for Nick, whose big crack came in a major way. Destined for recognition, Nick met President of Streamline Records and VP of A&R @ Interscope Records, Mr. Vincent Herbert. Galvanized by Nick's talent and passion, they inked a deal and immediately began working on Nick's debut album. Inspired by the hopeless romantic's relatable adventures in love-and influence by everyone from Sting and Stevie Wonder to Jay - Z and Notorious B.I.G.-Nick's soul-kissed pop records are feel-good gems, versatile enough to soundtrack a night out on the town.

"I just hope that my music can allow people to connect with each other and have a good time togeter," says Nick, whos project will symbolize the beginnings of a burgeoning career, "This definitely isn't my break-up album. This is definitely young love, and there's a lot of romance in the music."

Nick's debut album is slated to release in 2014
