The Fighting Jamesons

The Fighting Jamesons

The Fighting Jamesons deliver a traditional style of Celtic music with an aggressive and energetic modern approach. Formed in 2009 in the tradition of legendary Celtic acts such as Flogging Molly and the Pogues, the Fighting Jamesons have quickly developed a strong national presence thanks to their updated versions of classic Irish and American folk songs, as well as a growing catalog of original tunes.

They've shared the stage with legendary Irish rock acts such as the Dropkick Murphys, the Saw Doctors, and the Young Dubliners, and earned headlining slots in venues and festivals nationwide. Since releasing their self-titled debut album (produced and engineered by Capital Records recording artist Mark Padgett, "Mae"), they have stormed on to the live scene as one of Celtic Rock's most sought-after groups.

Ghosts of Bannockburn

Formed in early 2013, Ghosts of Bannockburn are a high energy Celtic punk project blending traditional Scottish folk music with the in-your-face electric style of punk rock. One month after forming, they had a full set list, and in just a few short months they have already made a name for themselves regionally in the Celtic genre, performing at many of North Carolina's finest venues and opening for The Mahones.

In contrast to their contemporaries, Ghosts of Bannockburn honor the musical history and culture of Scotland by performing traditional Scottish and British tunes, originals, and popular Celtic covers with lyrics in Scots, English, and Gaelic.

With powerful choruses, haunting bagpipes, vibrant fiddle, and infectious rhythms, Ghosts of Bannockburn offer a level of authenticity seldom heard in the modern Celtic scene, while adding intensity and energy that compels the listener to dance and take part in the experience.
