The Jukebox: Anniversary Show
Hosted by Steve(s) Heisler & Jacobs and Margaret Lyons
At New York’s only monthly singalong comedy show (we hope), entertainers of all stripes gather to steep karaoke into Union Hall like a delicious, soothing tea. Each performs a piece inspired by a song—be it a story, stand-up, sketch, or something in-between—after which they karaoke their hearts out to said song. It scratches the collective comedy/storytelling/singing in public itch, while simultaneously fulfilling the co-hosts' desire to make karaoke part of everyone's life, whether they like it or not.

LA Weekly named Stelling #2 on a list of “12 L.A. Comedy Acts to Watch in 2013.” Patton Oswalt also just listed Beth as one of his favorite up-and-coming comics during his AMA on Reddit. She was a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and will be returning to the fest this year. A few months after arriving in LA, Stelling made her standup television debut on TBS’s Conan. Conan announced the release of her debut comedy album, Sweet Beth, on Rooftop Comedy’s record label. Her second appearance was on TV Guide Network’s Stand-up In Stilettos with Kate Flannery. Beth was deemed “Top 18 Women You Should Be Following On Twitter” by Huffington Post. Nerdist.com has been a big supporter of Beth, including her in their “Four Funny Female Comedians You Need to Know” alongside Shelby Fero, Tig Notaro and Ali Wong. Beth can be heard on Chris Hardwick’s annual podcast Stand-up Cluster 2013 and with Pete Holmes on his podcast “You Made It Weird” #134.
