Brian Jordan Band

From over ten years of playing guitar with "Karl Denson's Tiny Universe", to performing and recording with Grammy Award winning artist, Lauryn Hill, to numerous appearances with the house band on the NBC television show, "Last Call with Carson Daly", Brian Jordan has proven time again that he can lay down the funk!

Brian's musical journey started in his home town of San Diego, CA. At the age of eight he got his first guitar. He later studied percussion in high school and taught himself bass guitar. In college, Brian studied Classical and Jazz music, as well as composition at U.C. Santa Barbara. Shortly after, he formed his first original music projects. One of these included an eclectic Punk/Alternative band, co-founded with Robert Walter in San Diego. Upon widening his cultural and musical awareness, Brian found himself traveling around the world with different World Music artists. Upon focusing his talents in the Funk/Jazz realm, Brian subsequently embarked on a 10 plus year stint with the Funk/Jazz band, "Karl Denson's Tiny Universe".

As well, Brian has shared the stage and played with many notables such as James Brown, Dave Mathews Band, The Allman Brothers Band, Fred Wesley, Bernie Worrell, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Bob Weir and many more world class musicians. Brian has definitely shared his passion for music with music fans around the world. And, that is the driving force behind his music!

"ISSOVEE (pronounced It's O.V. - short for "It's over.") is a loud, in-your-face quartet from Boulder, CO. They are here to bring you that funky rock and roll you've been searching for.

Formed during an improv jam in a tiny, dark Eldorado Springs dungeon, ISSOVEE was poised from the start to rock faces. Consisting of three Southern gentlemen and a city slicker from Long Island, NY, ISSOVEE has had a musical spark from day one. Blending a healthy layer of rock and roll, a large pinch of stone cold funk, and a dash of a psychedelia, ISSOVEE is primed to excite all musical palates."

SHRINK melts through genres every Wednesday featuring as the house band of the new Quixotes location (13th & Grant). Experimenting w/ audience interaction through sound therapy.
