Dr. Kevorkian & The Volunteers

Dr. Kevorkian & The Volunteers

Started in 2006, Dr. Kevorkian & the Volunteers have played at bars, festivals, house parties, and venues all across Illinois. Progressive rock, funk, and blues stuffed into a blender creating a sound just as unique as our name.

The Red Threads

Ben Mackey moved from Austin Texas to Chicago in April of 2012 with a head full of songs and a mission to form a new band in the Windy City. And when he met Anna Holmquist (also of Picard) and heard her voice and keys,THAT HAPPENED. Ben (Jay) Standage, a lovely gent from the UK, joined soon after to put his subtle and tasteful drums into the mix, and multi instrumentalist extrordinaire, Jayson Homyak, joined on bass to complete the square. With about 15 songs, and counting in the bands repertoire, The Red Threads work on their debut EP, and are seen playing shows around Chicago.

Sean Lucy

Sean Lucy has moved across the country numerous times, you may have seen him in Oregon or California, New Mexico, but this blonde boy hails from Texas, where lots of good things come from....and then stay gone 🙂 Joined by a ragtag group of pickers, singers, smile makers and gladbringers. "He lept up on the table and kicked his amp out the window, this is after bringing a room of three hundred people to silence with a wonderful song about the Modern West." Sean Lucy is a singer/songwriter in the vein of Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt and Neil Young. And like these heroes of his plays music of the west. Regarded as a fine lyricist and spirited performer, Sean sings or hollers lovely songs of longing and lonelyness in this modern world.
