DAVI (David Khanjian)

Hailed as “LA's best kept secret”, David “DAVI” Khanjian Internationally acclaimed DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner grew up surrounded by the sounds of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Deeply passionate about music since childhood, it didn't take long before he was admitted to the prestigious Komitas State Conservatory's music department in Yerevan, Armenia. But it wasn't until his move to Los Angeles that the magic truly began to unfold.

Finding himself at a young ripe age of 20, he began producing electronic dance music, inspired by many world class producers and Djs that frequent the best LA clubs. Having already been the resident of the top electronic music club in Armenia and a trained musician, it was only matter of time that the heavyweights of the industry began to take notice. In a matter of just a few short months, guys like Damian Lazarus, Hernan Cattaneo, Jody Wisternoff and Eelke Kleijn were all supporting David's dance floor bombs.

What followed could only be described as an intense journey deep into the heart. Combining his unique groove, stabbing melodies and deep pads, DAVI locked himself in his LA studio and dedicated himself to polishing his already amazing production skills. The payoff was soon to come and what a payoff it was.

Having always been a big fan of Robert Babicz, David loved and played his music. After a chance meeting, they became really good friends. Having someone like Robert as a mentor, and even being the first person to remix Robert on his new label Babiczstyle, opened many doors for the talented LA producer. A common name in the charts and dj sets of the likes of John Digweed, Guy J, Nick Warren, 16 Bit Lolitas and Neil Quigley he also opens up for guys like Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, James Zabiela and Art Department, Dubfire on a regular basis.

Having released a monster remix of Underworld's “Two Months Off” anthem, and having the said track played live by Jody Wisternoff at the annual Burning Man festival, with over 50,000 people in attendance. With releases on labels such as Bits & Pieces, Babiczstyle, Armada, Outside The Box, Treibstoff, Anjunadeep Hope Recordsings.

2012 was a breakthrough year by touring 1st time to South America to play in 3 cities in Argentina which was by a high demand. Destroying the dance floors in Buenos Aires, Tucuman & Mendoza. Talented Producer also found himself being the resident Dj of Insomniac, Which was awarded as Best Promoter in the IDMA. Through Insomniac DAVI has been playing numerous gigs every month sharing the decks with his favorite Djs like Richie Hawtin, Dubfre, Matador to name few..

DAVI Slowly but steadily worked on his career. As a warm-UP DJ for several headline he built in the last years a considerable fanbase on. Now no one was lower than the Crosstown Rebels Mastermind Damian Lazarus attention to DAVI. The result is an EP that will bring DAVI all probability the international breakthrough.

A genuine staple in Los Angeles and a frequent player abroad, Freddy Be has been delivering great music and first-rate events to Angelenos for more than a decade now. From the legendary weekly Monday Night Social, to the awe-inspiring annual Earthdance gatherings, Freddy's tireless efforts have been instrumental in defining the progress of Southern California's dance music culture since the late 90s.

Freddy began his DJ career in '94, spinning at full moon gatherings in California's Mojave Desert, and made his mark on the scene through a series of successful residencies, special events and international dj appearances.

2007 - 2009 saw the release of Freddy’s much anticipated studio collaboration with Trent Cantrelle of SOUNDS LIKE and DAVI of CROSSTOWN REBELS. Both these debut singles [Trent Cantrelle & Freddy Be "You don't have to cry"] and ["Holding Back - SOUL VIBRATION Lazy River Mix" with DAVI] received massive praise and plays from the likes of John Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Quivver, Danny Howells, Way Out West and many others; and has been featured on John Digweeds TRANSISTION RADIO as well as countless mix compilations with DJ like John Graham (Quivver) & Sander Kleinenberg.

Today, you can find Freddy Be playing at some of the best events in LA whether its at his home-base, Monday Social @ Sound, or making special guest appearances at ExchangeLA, Avalon, King King and the Sounds Like Terrace @ Dim Mak; you can be certain to hear some of the most forward thinking sound in today's ever changing climate.
