Jeb Brady Band (6pm)
The late Jeb Brady played blues and roots music for more than 30 years. After moving to California in 1980 Jeb became a regular at Mark Naftalin's "Blue Monday Party" in Fairfax, playing with and learning from the blues greats. He worked as a solo artist and fronted the "Jeb Brady Blues Band" at venues including Maritime Hall and Starlight Room in San Francisco, Westport Blues Festival and Berkeley's Freight and Salvage. The Jeb Brady Band plays on in his loving memory.
Boogie Woogie Piano Tuesdays Featuring Chris Brown & Wendy Fitz
Wendy Fitz - Keyboard /Vocals
Wendy's influences range from Professor Longhair to Carol King to Floyd Kramer to Patsy Cline, the list is indeed endless. Wendy moved to Marin, and began playing regular pick-up gigs and joined bands which expanded her range of styles. Playing and singing with The Jeb Brady Band, Sweetie Pie and the Doughboys, Pack of Wolves, Chuck Day and her own trio, Wendy is versatile and in high demand as soloist and accompanist. From Country Swing to Chicago Blues, Spooky Rock to Sultry Standards, her voice and piano are always a great addition.
Gary Bauman- Guitar/Vocals
A native of Southern California, Gary Bauman grew up listening to the surf music of Dick Dale, The Ventures, and The Beachboys. Playing guitar from the age of nine, these influences shaped his early playing. Later, as lead guitar for the classical rock band, Haydn, he opened for Ike and Tina Turner and the 60's rock band, Love. His first exploration of the blues began as lead guitar player in Lee Oskar's back-up band. With his Telecaster on his shoulder, his hard driving country blues sound helps to shape the music that is The Jeb Brady Band.
Tom Peplinski - Drums/Vocals
Studio drumming with the famous King Studio, symphony, and regional touring in the Midwest with a band made popular with Yanni's keyboard playing, Tom performed as many as 1,872 shows between 1987 and 1993. As Tom puts it, "Today, FUN is my focus, and I am having a ball playing with Jeb Brady."
Eva Maass - Bass/Vocals
Eva has been studying music since the age of 9, when she began with classical flute. She expanded to become a classically trained singer 17 years ago, and most recently, has been rocking the bass for the past 7 years. During this time, Eva has worked with many local bands and acapella groups, including the San Francisco Symphony. Eva loves variety, and is influenced by a diverse group of genres, including Pop, Classical, Jazz, Funk…and, of course, The Blues!
