Long Long Time: A Historic Tribute to Billy Joel - MEET AND GREET UPGRADE

Long Long Time: A Historic Tribute to Billy Joel, by his Original Band

After over one million bootleg copies of Billy Joel's 1972 WMMR/Sigma Sound Studios radio concert were in circulation, SONY/Legacy Records released this legendary concert as part of a 2 CD boxed set, simply titled "Piano Man," Legacy Edition. It has been widely known for over 40 years that this "live" broadcast gave Billy's career a much needed boost as the "then" new song "Captain Jack" was added to the station's playlist and became the most requested song in WMMR-FM's history, beating out "Freebird," "Stairway to Heaven," and even "Hey Jude."

On September 22, 2013, Billy Joel's original recording and touring band reunited for the first time in over 40 years at New York City's legendary The Bitter End to re-create the WMMR/Sigma Sound concert. They reunite again for this special show!
