Glockabelle is an experimental musician and composer based in NYC via Paris.

Before becoming the operator of two pocket calculators, Glockabelle attended the École Normale de Musique de Paris and graduated as a certified concert pianist. Soon thereafter, Glockabelle was introduced to her first casio vl-tone and began adapting her classical repertoire to its tiny keys. Her second signature instrument, the glockenspiel, would be mailed to her by her mother. Glockabelle would apply her classical technique to both instruments to create sounds which are both rhythmic and whimsical.

The New York Times said about Glockabelle "we have never seen a glockenspiel played in this manner: not with sticks, but with thimbles on fingertips. That can make for more simultaneous notes. More busy metallic pling."

In 2008, Glockabelle toured with the Fiery Furnaces, an indie rock group from NYC, on a tour which culminated at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.

In 2010, Glockabelle was asked to compose an original piece for the Paris Cinema Festival, which was broadcast nationally in cinemas and on French television.

Glockabelle has also performed with other bands, including Flóp et Tout le Tremblement, a Parisian-based chanson française group, and at the Montreux Jazz Festival. She has served as a judge for the music division of the Festival Içi et Demain (Paris, FR) and was an announcer, translator and DJ for Radio Campus Paris.

Glockabelle's two favorite performers are Dick Dale and Lizzy Mercier Descloux.
