Back to Black: A Tribute to Amy Winehouse

A celebration of Amy Winehouse and her music...

Back to Black is a special performance tribute to and celebration of the late Amy Winehouse and her music, based in Fresno, California. The group was initially formed in the summer of 2012 to commemorate the first anniversary of Amy’s untimely passing in July of 2011, and made its performance debut on 11/1/12. Back To Black features Danielle Rondero on lead vocals and a seven-piece band comprised of some of the Central Valley's most talented and renowned musicians: Sean Alderette on drums, Ben Betita on guitar, Crissy Martinez on bass, Steve Coleman on keys, Gary Anderson on trombone, Pierce Yamaoka on trumpet, and Richard Scroggin on tenor sax. Back To Black's repertoire includes Amy’s most popular hits and plenty of lesser known favorites, as well as a few posthumously-released gems; their mission is to share Amy's music in a live capacity to help her legacy, as well as her timeless songs, live on. If you are an Amy Winehouse fan, this tribute is not to be missed!

Pocket Money

The awesomeness formally known as Black Molly began when a dad and his daughter decided to make noise together. Next, they invited some friends to join them. After years of struggling to find the right musicians, the band finally came together. Lastly, Black Molly changed its name to Pocket Money, after an Impalers song, and began performing. Their first gig was in May 2012.
Pocket Money plays a fun, energetic, unique mix of reggae, rocksteady, and ska. At each gig, Pocket Money plays tunes by Chris Murray, Hep Cat, Rebelution, the Squirrel Nut Zippers, and more.
You can enjoy Pocket Money's golden tones at Audie's Olympic Club, Fulton 55, Eureka Burger, The Lampost, The Starline, Full Circle Brewery, The Babylon Club, Mother Mary's, Club Retro, and more hip places..
