What people are saying about The Hollow Glow:

"You may find yourself pleasantly surprised by The Hollow Glow. What the band serves up are straight-ahead, no-nonsense riff rockers tailor-made for the high school parking lot or small-town cruising around on a Friday night."
- Rick Johnson, Portland Press Herald (Oct 18, 2012)

"The Hollow Glow is definitely not a band to overlook. They have a maturity in their song writing that very few bands possess these days. Fans of the Foo Fighters, the Silversun Pickups, and the Deftones should definitely check out this new album ~ as should anyone who simply likes genuinely good music."
- Katey Khaos, Worsester Pulse Magazine (Nov 12, 2012)

Katrina of Portland Maine's rock station The Bone says: “I'm in love with this album...Kinda like a super group right here.”

CrowfeatheR, program director at WOMM Burlington, VT says: “The Hollow Glow is flavored with Ben’s virtuoso guitar playing and pleasantly flawed vocal character...This is a heavy hitting album from one of our region’s top performers.”

Kennedy of WTOS Augusta, ME says: “Hiding in the Northeast corner of the United States, The Hollow Glow is right now the region's best kept secret. Ben Carroll's lyrics, songwriting and arranging are sensitive one minute, angry and intense the next, but through the entire full-length album always completely honest. With the addition of bassist Tom Connors and drummer Travis Barton, the Hollow Glow is definitely a band to keep an eye on in 2011.”

Andy Austin of Portland Maine's rock station The Bone says: “The Hollow Glow is The Cars with a bit of road rage!”

Brad Wilson of Toronto Rock Radio says: “The Toronto Rock Radio Show proudly supports Ben Carroll and The Hollow Glow - Ben is a musician of our times who is steeped in the knowledge of all the great rockers that came before him and magically brings all this knowledge forward to give us an exciting, fresh, and long needed new approach to modern rock that has just enough familiarity to comfort us coupled with enough unknown to wow us!”

Michael Spaulding Band

Being known as one of the most respected, hardest working, and talented artists around, Michael Spaulding, along with his full live band, were opening/touring/headlining with national bands such as Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust, Cold, 10 Years, Staind, Filter, Nonpoint, Ill Nino, among MANY more up until early 2011.

With a busy schedule and many inner demons calling out to slow down, in mid 2011, Michael completely shut down his music empire (stores, websites, social network pages, etc were all deleted) and took over a year and a half away from it all to focus on family and bettering life in all aspects.

With the urge to write and play during this time, his break was finally over.

Echoes Of Petra

Jodi Pereira has been singing along side many rock/ metal acts as a guest vocalist for years, and in late August 2010 guitarist Jeff Kuznezov (Goddess of my Religion, Stoic, Garuda) had asked if she would sing on some demo material. After a month of emailing demo's and riffs, Nik Rooney (Goddess of my Religion, Garuda, Oceans at Dawn) came in and sorted out the mess and locked down the rhythm guitar. Then adding Justin Viveiros (Stoic, Oceans at Dawn) on bass and Brendan Campbell (Stoic) on drums rounded up the rhythm section. The idea was to get some friends in a room and do a demo. Since then, the songs were stripped down and completed...and a demo became a band. Some where between space rock and a nineties vibe. 5 friends created 6 songs and a Facebook page. hopefully you check out both.
