Reward, Rachel Ann, The Jawn, The Yuzh

The band describes themselves simply... "We're a bunch of kids trying to have some fun because we're not really good at anything else." These young pop/punk rockers are sure to open this show up with a lot of energy!

Rachel Ann

Rachel Ann's smooth style of pop-rock belies the depth of the lyrics in many of her songs. Singing for almost as long as she could speak and writing lyrics even before she could play guitar, music has come very naturally to her. Writing from the heart, her songs touch on the people she has known, the trials and tribulations that have crossed her path, as well as the joys in her life.
At only 18, this South Jersey singer-songwriter is close to releasing her first CD. The 10 song project is slated for debut this fall and covers her favorites from her live performances.

The Jawn

The Jawn was formed at the end of 2012 and features the former lineup from Before The Accident Happens: Pat Durkin on guitar/vocals, Josh Reichardt on drums and Mike Novak on Bass. With the addition of Ricky Haldis on guitar, this new quartet has already begun making a name for themselves, with an explosive debut at The Legendary Dobbs to a packed house as well as making the finals of The World Cafe Live's Monthly Philly Rising competition after only their second performance. The Jawn is currently working on tracks at Milkboy The Studio, where great Philly acts such as The Roots, Dr. Dog, and the Disco Biscuits, as well as major label artists such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, and Dave Matthews have recorded. The recordings which will be out in the Spring of 2013.

The Yuzh

The Yuzh (pronounced like 'usual') is a live performance band from South Philadelphia, PA. The Yuzh melds Electronic, Dance, and New Wave grooves to create a very fun, upbeat atmosphere. High energy and great original music makes The Yuzh an unmistakable, enjoyable live band that brings something extra-special to every show. In 2012, The Yuzh are currently playing shows and recording their highly anticipated FIRST SINGLE, "Away Too Long".
