The Oblivians are an American garage punk band dating back to 1993. In the 1990s, their blues-infused brand of bravado, and crudely recorded music made them one of the most popular and prominent bands within the underground garage rock scene. Formed in Memphis, Tennessee the band consisted of three members -- Greg Cartwright, Jack Yarber and Eric Friedl—who alternated between instruments on stage and in the studio, each member serving as vocalist, guitarist, and drummer, in turn. The band recorded three LPs, as well as a number of EPs and singles, typically recording songs live in the studio. In the past year, the band announced it will be releasing its first studio album in 16 years, and will be touring as well. Stay tuned!

"MUSK is an anomaly. Its knuckle dragging, saturated dirges are the uncalculated, pure expression of spite and frustration. Go ahead, think mid-70s Ohio filtered through Australia a few years later, but remember this vitriol is being flung on Telegraph Ave cretin in Berkeley, 2013. Formed with an unabashed allegiance to agitation, both of their own and listeners, MUSK is antithetical to its Bay Area contemporaries. While others pamper sycophants and desperately strive to endear potential fans, MUSK commands a flippant disregard for their feelings and precious posturing. MUSK shows are not wheelchair accessible, there’s no door on the bathroom stall and cocaine addled fan-children won’t be ushered through the back door in stained fur coats with 3” buttons on the lapel." - Sam Lefebvre (Degenerate Zine / MaximumRocknRoll)

Midnite Snaxxx

Total Punk is proud to bring these Bay Area broads (members of the Bobbyteens, Trashwomen, and Loudmouths) into the family. I met the Snaxxx in Atlanta and they manhandled me, picked me up, and treated me like a submarine sandwich; then tried to force me into a strip club to watch them yell at strippers. These two short blast of tough edged bubble gum punk may make them seem sweet, but beware these aren't those kind of snaxxx. This shit ain't cute its TOTAL PUNK!!!

Primitive Hearts

"Of all the Oakland bands today, these guys and girl are the one that really stands out. Amazing rock'n'roll songs with hooks a plenty. Don't be surprised if you catch yourself humming "Primitive hearts" while you're brushing your teeth in the morning. Their first full length "High & Tight" is gonna cut you up! It's a must have! Don't miss this out!"
