Let’s just get it out of the way right up front: In the five years between his last and most successful album yet, Good Times, and his new Dualtone Records release, Beautiful Day, Charlie Robison got divorced from his wife Emily (of The Dixie Chicks). So it’s only natural to assume that this is his “divorce album,” which is not altogether untrue.

Brad Dunn Band

Born in Dallas Texas, Brad was raised on music. He started playing music at age 12 with a guitar his parents gave him for his birthday. It was 6 months later he penned his first song, “It Ain’t Love”. He was hooked. Brad played in many bands throughout school, and continued to write music. He formed a band with some buddies and took over Deep Ellum in Dallas. Tin Henry performed all over Texas and shared the stage with the likes of The Toadies, Pantera, and others. After regional success with Tin Henry, Brad began the next stage in his music career. He became the production manager for Beaver Productions, producing such concerts as Kiss, Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, Van Halen, Rod Stewart and others. One of the shows Brad produced was a little known band out of California called Sugar Ray. Brad became friends with the band and later handled the “Lemonade and Brownies” Tour that consisted of 48 states and 12 months.

The Brad Dunn band has shared the stage with Reckless Kelly, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Micky & the Motorcars and Ray Wylie.
