The James Douglas Show

The James Douglas Show

The James Douglas Show (The JDS) brings a vibrant fusion of their signature "Funk-n-Soul-n-Rock & Roll" flavor to stages everywhere. Known for their outlandish performances, over the top wardrobe, and seasoned musicianship, the band is dead serious about one thing when the lights go on, and that's entertaining the crowd. After a recent showcase performance at the Sunset Sessions Convention in Las Vegas, a prominent music manager described the JDS performance as, "The circus just came to town."

The JDS has a unique ability to entertain audiences of every demographic from the young party crowd to serious music lovers. Earning their chops with over 150 shows a year, national acts have taken notice. The JDS has shared stages with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Keith Urban, Sammy Hagar, Chickenfoot, The Black Crowes, Bon Jovi, Nickelback, Los Lonely Boys, Maze feat. Frankie Beverly, and many more. The JDS are tapped for brand ambassador appearances at globally recognized events including the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), and annual Superbowl VIP Parties.

Currently, The JDS is taking their flamboyant live sound to the late night television viewing audience; They are the featured house band for NBC-syndicated show, The After-After Party, hosted by Breaking Bad star Steven Michael Quezada. The AAP continuously earns ratings of 2.5 or better throughout the Southwest.

2013 is the start of a new exciting chapter for one of the hardest working bands in the business. Come January, their new single and music video, "Wonderfully," will be released to Triple A and Non-Com formats coinciding with a West Coast College Tour. With over 2000 spins of "Wonderfully" to date, the JDS is not resting on their laurels. Over the holiday, the band is entrenched in the studio and for the first time, collaborating with outside Award Winning producers and writers to further develop their musical legacy. Look for their follow up single, "Vegas Hot" to be ready to hit clubs and radio airwaves just in time for Spring.
