The Joiner Inners, Fiesta Brava

The Joiner Inners

Originally formed in 1996, The Joiner Inners, a combination of friendship, musical dexterity and volume, celebrate their best traits on “The Time is Now” (2007), a glorious journey through the band's best moments, extolling the virtues of the music that influenced them the most (Guided by Voices, the Who,
the Replacements, and Superchunk). Boiled and basted in an
over-heated basement for over a decade, the band's tightness and comraderies is apparent in would-be singles “Hidden Sector”,
“Song of Many Lyrics” and “Air Guitar and Dashboard Drums”, all of which evoke the best of musicians and friends, plodding angrily towards middle age and restricted circumstances. “The Time is Now” is, interestingly enough, timeless and anyone who wants to enjoy well-crafted music burnt at the ends with musical abandon simply needs to listen... now.

In 2008, now a trio, the band continued writing what would become their next album, “All Star Traction” (2012) much in the same pop rock style of “The Time Is Now”. The album features some more gems such as, “Separate Arts”, “Open Things”, and “Dynamite Horse”. Continuing on, the writing continued and in the winter of 2013, the bands final album, “House of Sound” (2013) was released. Initially an EP, the extended version includes some live recordings from that period as well. The Joiner Inners played their final show in July of 2013.

Fiesta Brava

Fiesta Brava mines a particular sound half born of folk, and half born of punk, which results in a warm, dramatic form of what people are calling "indie rock" these days.

Fiest Brava is interested in literate and emotive pop music, marrying tuneful melodies with cathartic and insightful lyrics. The band's sound ranges from hushed songs featuring banjo and almost-whispered vocals, to driving rhythms with mounting guitar freakouts.

The vocal harmonies of Chris and Ray are both effortless and engaging, and the band's arrangements ensure a dynamic and dramatic performance.

Back From Earth

Back From Earth is an instrumental project that hails from the hills of Shelton, CT. The music features an alignment of energy and musical flavors from experiences brought on by its members who remain open to the unexpected vibration of energy.
