Cold Train is a tribute to music born in America's south land. Where Rock & Roll and Blues collided at the cross roads of American music. A sound that became coined as good ole' American "Southern Rock". A premier band custom built for good time people, motorcycle enthusiasts and southern rock lovers .
On the East Coast, Cold Train has been a staple to many fairs and functions, private and civic such as The Eastern States Exposition 2000-2007 (the 7th largest fair in the good old U.S.A.), The Woodstock Fair, Portland Fair, Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Motor Speedway, outdoor municipal concerts, Village Square concerts, campgrounds, beach party's, bike rodeos, auto and cycle swap meets, car shows, bike shows, pig roasts & poker runs. The band has played live radio and public television shows. Cold Train played the main stage at the 2010 Harley Rendezvous Classic in upstate New York and recently
shared the stage with the likes of country hit makers The Oakridge Boys, Lone Star, Southern Rock legends The Outlaws Band 2010+2012, along with .38 Special, Head East, Foghat's 40th anniversary tour.
13th Step is an Original Rock/Jam/Prog trio from Connecticut. 13th Step's music is a combination of upbeat and energetic songs with a lot of improvisation. Our music is constantly pushing the tempos and flexing the time signatures. All of our songs have a unique structure to them..but the jams are open to infinity and beyond!
Ollie, Jeff, and I really enjoy to play together and collaborate on ideas. Some of our influences are Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, Phish, Bjork, Radio Head, and VersaEmerge. Our influences being so different, allow us to connect musically while learning from each other as well. Its a constant growing process that we share and we cant wait to spread it with the world!
