Water Liars

Water Liars

Water Liars became a thing in Pittsboro, M$ in 2011. We made our first record there by accident. We ended up calling it "Phantom Limb" and it came out in February 2012. Since then we've played a lot of shows and met a lot of cool people. Recently we made another record in Water Valley, M$, which we have called "Wyoming". It will come out March 5th, 2013 on Big Legal Mess/Fat Possum Records. Please look for it wherever you look for music and look for us in your town.

Prism Waves

PRISMWAVES emerged from Denver Colorado to it's first appearance in Iceland Airwaves in the autumn of 2012. Since then, Zale Hassler Jordan Wyatt, James Barone (Tennis, Tjutjujna) have recorded two EP's, "Courage" and "White Fog" and are riding the waves, voted Westword Readers choice "Best New Band" of 2013 and are getting ready for some dates on the coasts this fall to support the releases."Prism Waves followed up with something entirely different: a set of dreamy, slightly psychedelic electronic tunes that drew inspiration from the object of it's namesake. Layer upon layer of emotion -- from tranquility to an underlying, sweeping sort of sadness -- collided and blended to create something that was both seductive and ambient." -Westword

Shady Elders

"Like a drugged Ella Fitzgerald singing to a dying lover" (Denver Westword), Fox Rodemich's inimitable, vibrato-soaked vocals are the centerpiece to Shady Elders' take on indie rock: shimmery yet dark, velvety yet sharp, grand yet close to your ears.

The Denver based band's 2013 (No Favors EP) and 2014 (The Night Air EP) releases garnered high acclaim, as well as opening slots for Mazzy Star, Wild Nothing, Youth Lagoon, Caveman, Dr. Dog, DeVotchka, and The Antlers among many others, as well as trips to CMJ, the Treefort Music Fest and countless other shows around Colorado and the rest of the country. In Fall 2016, they released a new single, "Trust," and are gearing up for their debut full-length release in 2017.
The Denver based band's 2013 debut EP, No Favors, was released via Hot Congress Records to high acclaim, and earned them support slots for Mazzy Star, DeVotchka, Dr. Dog, The Antlers, Wild Nothing, and Caveman among others, as well as a trip to the 2013 CMJ Music Marathon.

In 2014, Shady Elders will tour the west coast in March, followed by the release of a new EP later in the Spring.
