Joséphine Ancelle

Joséphine Ancelle

Born and raised in Paris, singer-songwriter Joséphine Ancelle, who calls New York her home the past eight years, has been enchanting audiences on both sides of the Atlantic by mixing her French charm with an American spirit. Her bilingual songs are lively yet poetic, humorous yet vulnerable, with melodies and style that remind fans of Norah Jones and Yael Naïm. Seeing Joséphine live is a treat - she has performed in legendary venues in New York, Paris, Nashville and Montréal. Her albums have received airplay in the US and Europe, and have garnered praise: music critic Wildy Haskell said, "There is something incredibly pure and heartfelt about Ancelle's singing style… it's pure emotion, honestly written, and transfers from heart to voice and heart to guitar.” Joséphine will perform accompanied by two gospel singers and her great band playing acoustic & electric guitars, upright bass, piano, mandolin and accordion. Come out for a night of romance, exoticism and joie de vivre!

Elijah Tucker

Elijah's performances are intimate yet powerful, generous of spirit and thoroughly transporting. His heart is wide open; passion rings out through his throaty bray and flashing fingers. His voice is raw with nuanced emotionality... and his lyrics, in turn playful & pungent, plumb the depths of the soul and draw from his experiences of a life deeply lived. As Bruce Springsteen has sung, Elijah plays songs "for the ones who had a notion deep inside that it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive!"
