Drums Along the Mohawk http://www.datmod.com

Drums Along the Mohawk Outdoor Drama by Walter D. Edmonds tells the story of the American Revolution from the perspective of Mohawk Valley, NY inhabitants.

Drums Along the Mohawk is known as one of the finest examples of historical fiction ever written. Told through the eyes of Gil and Lana Martin, these characters mingle with real historical figures in a remarkably accurate portrayal of actual struggles and events of the time.

This exciting and unique production includes the spectacle of musketry, cannon fire, "truth is stranger than fiction" drama, an original musical score and vocal performances.
Outdoor Historical Drama has the magical power to imbue the visitor with a sense of pilgrimage to another time and place where actual events took place. The year is 1777, just one year after our patriots signed the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain. The Mohawk Valley of upstate NY was a hotbed of inter-cultural strife. It was highly strategic Revolutionary War region that grew much of George Washington’s provisions for the Continental Army. One third of all Revolutionary War battles were fought on New York State soil and many of our country's most powerful colonial influencers lived in New York.

We invite you to come experience the vivid stimulation of senses that this powerful story has to tell.
