MUST DIE!, Shreddie Mercury

Somewhere at any given time in the universe, there is a blue-eyed, incredibly obnoxious, 21 year old boy. It just so happens that this particular boy is MUST DIE!

Coming into being in 2011, Lee Bates is an electronic music producer from Atlanta, GA with a focus on capturing the essence of childhood, manic depression, bad anime, and sleep deprivation. Utilizing bass music as a medium to express these wonders/horrors, he has captured the attention of several veteran DJ's and producers in the dance music scene. With an astounding amount of music in his vault, and releases on Ultra, Firepower. Dim Mak, Subhuman, Play Me, Mad Decent and Atlantic records, MUST DIE! is a human factory of quirky dance-floor smashers and anthemic, arena sized melodies and leads. Not to mention music that is reminiscent of being lost in an 8-bit jungle with a high-grade fever while eating sour candy.

At the end of the day, MUST DIE! is a well rounded, oddly engaging, slightly charming, horrible awkward mess of a human with an affinity for creation.

Shreddie Mercury

You wouldn't know it based on the complexity and addictive nature of his
music, but 23 year old producer Jonathan Kane, a.k.a. Shreddie Mercury,
has been producing electronic music for just a year from his home studio
in Columbia, MO. Kane began his journey dropping bootleg remixes from
dance-floor mainstays like Phoenix and Chromeo with a gripping style of
dynamic electro house and emotionally complex synth lines to opening shows for Major Lazer, Mimosa, Big Gigantic, Infected Mushroom and more. As he began drawing comparisons to Zedd and Mord Fustang, Kane put a fresh twist on his remix of the former artist's "Spectrum" via an official remix
contest with Interscope Records and Beatport. His remix was picked out of
over 2,500 official entries, by Zedd himself. His next two remixes were
also released on Interscope, one for Timbaland and another for Zedd, this
time "Clarity", which was included on the official remix EP and earned a
Beatport Track of the Day feature. Following that his take on Blondfire's
"Walking With Giants" was released on Warner Brothers and hit #1 on
Hypemachine. Kane's spring touring so far included two slots at Electro
Beach Puerto Vallarta and Life In Color with Krewella. With steady
acclaimed production and live performances, Kane has proven at a young age that he has what it takes to compete at a very high level of electronic
music artistry. Be sure to keep an eye on this bright young prodigy,
because there is no telling how high his star will rise.
