Come join jazz chanteuse Nicole Lvoff and her band as they perform great jazz standards, hidden gems, and beautiful melodies of the 30s, 40s and 50s. Nicole will also be performing songs from her debut jazz vocal album, Here’s That Rainy Day which debuted at SOhO!
Featuring Woody DeMarco-piano, Randy Tico-bass, Tom Lackner-drums and Jon Crosse on saxophone, clarinet, flute and trumphet.
Here’s That Rainy Day has now sold in France, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Canada and the USA. Nicole is also featured on a compilation cd of female jazz vocalists entitled The Beautiful Sound of Songbirds Vol.2 put out by the Hong Kong based label Rock In Music. This album is currently being sold in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and Singapore.
Nicole does some great jazz standards including “Angel Eyes” and “Fever,” but she also goes deeper, pulling out some lesser known songs like “Don’t Explain”, “Whatever Lola Wants” and “Round Midnight.” She performs them all with the aim of truly telling their stories and exploring their melodies.
Backed by fantastic musicians, with each performance unique as jazz is meant to be, Nicole invites us to enjoy an evening with her and her friends as they play the music they love.
Please call SOhO today for dinner reservations at (805) 962-7776. This will be an evening of beautiful music and great musicians not to be missed.
Nicole’s album is available thru iTunes and CD Baby.
