Tituss Burgess "Comfortable" CD Release Concert

TITUSS BURGESS - the rising R&B vocalist and songwriter who has starred on television in the Emmy Award winning NBC comedy “30 Rock” and on Broadway in Jersey Boys and The Little Mermaid – is celebrating his exciting and personal debut album Comfortable with this special concert at The Cutting Room. When Burgess previewed the album last fall, it was hailed as “soaring, tender and mellow” by The Huffington Post, “gorgeous” byGay City News and praised for its “electric, sharp energy” by Next Magazine.

Burgess is best known for his recurring role as “D'Fawn” on the hit NBC series “30 Rock.” He has originated memorable roles in the original Broadway casts of Jersey Boys, The Little Mermaid and played ”Nicely Nicely Johnson” in the 2009 Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls, opposite Oliver Platt and Craig Bierko. Burgess has headlined at major symphonies throughout the world including the Prague Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Springfield Symphony Orchestra, and top concert venues such as 54 Below and Birdland, and opened for Bette Midler and sang for Julia Roberts.
