Four fellas with an HQ in the Lower Hudson Valley invite each audience into their own motion-music-microcosm for a slew of tunes that has been described by friendly strangers and stranger-friends alike as "relentless" and "unique".

They have just released their first single, Into The Hop (b/w) Fix It All, digitally to whatever corners of the world wide web that will receive them, and plans are in motion to put it on vinyl and to follow up with a full-length LP!

In other words, DAISY RAYGUN LIVES!

Half Hadley is an independent American rock band featuring Scott Rainaud (Lead Vocals), Benji Arnold (Guitar, Vocals), Troy Johnson (Guitar), Forrest Klawunn (Bass) and Winston Vargo (Drums). The group formed in October 2018 after Scott, Benji, Troy and Winston attended a Tigers Jaw concert at Brooklyn Steel. The four met as a loose circle of mutual friends and left as bandmates, knowing something special was on the horizon the moment they made introductions. Forrest joined the band a few months later as their full time bassist to round out the group and enhance their sound.

Since forming in the morning hours outside of a dive bar in Brooklyn after that fateful show, the band has become a regular in the New York rock scene where all five members currently reside, practice, and perform. Notable performance venues include Rockwood Music Hall, Arlene’s Grocery, Pianos, and the Bitter End.

Diverse musical backgrounds and influences from each band member help to foster a creative environment where each member’s ideas come together to form their unique sound. Drawing influence from a wide array of genres including alternative rock, metalcore, psychedelic rock, punk rock, pop punk, classic rock, post-grunge, emo, and indie, Half Hadley seeks to encapsulate audiences using dissonance, minimalism, and authenticity as their north star when writing and performing music.

Half Hadley recently recorded their first 3 singles under the musical direction of Jeff Berner, a producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist based out of Studio G in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. All 3 singles are now available on all streaming services, including Spotify and Apple Music.

Jimmy Eat World, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, Manchester Orchestra, Taking Back Sunday, Tame Impala, The Killers, Bloc Party, Queens of the Stone Age, and Mt. Joy are among the most influential artists for the band.
