Bluewreck + Milo in the Doldrums

Consisting of four friends from the Washington D.C area, Bluewreck started out just like any other band would. By getting together and playing, revamping, and making some of their favorite songs sound even heavier. Soon afterward, they all felt a natural chemistry between the four of them, who had been playing in different bands since they met in high school, but never together. They soon began writing, and eventually recording their first EP, which would be released in March of 2018. Following this release, they played some of D.C's best venues. Including Union Stage, Jammin Java, and Tally Ho Theatre in Leesburg. During this time, they continued writing for what would eventually become there first album, Out Of Control. Out Of Control was released on all platforms in August of 2018. Following a headlining show at Rock And Roll Hotel and DC9, Bluewreck released a single, titled Coming Down in March of 2019. Also in March, they were added as direct support for People's Blues Of Richmond. Bluewreck has even more planned in 2019, and hopes to provide everyone with some sonic voodoo.

Milo in the Doldrums

Milo in the Doldrums is an indie rock band hailing from the sandy beaches of northern VA. Their end goal is to provide a new generation with sick avant grunge pop songs that both inspire youngsters to dream big and old ass boomers to light up and remember the good times of listening to Joe Walsh while avoiding eye contact with their parents. In other words, Milo in the Doldrums is a daily reminder to never give up, always have a goal to reach for, and never let the guy at McDonalds make you feel sad.

Throwing Plates

Combining heartfelt singer/songwriter roots with folk-rock grit, Throwing Plates is becoming a regular act among many venues in the Washington area. Created by three gifted musicians and songwriters, the DC based group aptly incorporates fresh musical thinking with memorable melodies.

Throwing Plates was founded by James Britton, Jamie Boyd, and Doug Imhoff; the three crossed paths while performing in DC showcases. Mutually impressed by their talents, they soon began writing songs together. Over the past three years Throwing Plates has independently booked and performed over 250 shows and have received awards from the Songwriters Association of Washington and Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest.

Through their energetic and interactive stage presence, the trio is accumulating a loyal following. In 2015, well-known songwriter and producer Mark Williams was impressed with Throwing Plates, leading to work on their recording debut. The self-titled album was released on July 29th, 2016 and can be found on iTunes, Spotify, and other online retailers.
