The Lost Monarchs are a Southern California rock n' roll jam band which draws influence from many musical styles to create their original sound. The members unify under a common goal of creating songs which breathe and grow, especially in a live performance where the band connects with the audience.
Bermudian Aggression is a mostly acoustic supergroup, showcasing prominent piano and violin over a traditional rock rhythm section (plus congas). Gritty folk/pop married with often-improvised jams and solos led by keys and strings. Now featuring 3 and 5-chord progressions, in addition to 4.
Sad songs, in major keys - San Francisco quartet, the Hoxton Mob, began as a brother-band style duo, exclusively singing break-up songs. Rounded about with violin and cello, the country-folk-Americana-hyphenate foursome has expanded their ambition but kept the focus on close harmonies, efficient narrative lyrics, and stripped down arrangements. Currently working on their second record - break-up songs matched to natural disasters.
