STIV DVD Release Party with The Legendary X_X (X blank X)

Lords Of The Highway

Lords of the Highway from Cleveland, Ohio have been tearin' up asphalt since 1992, bringing you hillbilly punk rock that knocks ya flat, runs ya over, and doesn't look back. The Lords have hauled along the highway from NYC's CBGB's to honky tonk dives in the hills, playing with the likes of Reverend Horton Heat, Southern Culture on the Skids, Hank III, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Dick Dale, Nekromantix, Tiger Army, El Vez, Hasil Adkins, Lee Rocker, Ray Condo, and many others - not to mention countless of kick ass punk bands. They've played events including Daytona's Bike Week, and are regulars at the biggest baddest party in this hemisphere, Heavy Rebel Weekender in Winston-Salem, NC. The Lords are also no strangers to the big & little screens, having appear". On the show, The Lords cut the mustard at the LA. tryouts only to be given the boot by Sheila E. & Goo Goo Dolls front man John Rzeznik. Yes, Sheila E. (who everyone knows is a true a rock connoisseur) The Lords can only take this rejection as a true sign that rock is dead in the corporate world. You also can find the Lords music as soundtracks for 6 other independent films, and the band also has a DVD of their music videos.

The line-up for the newest album ";Death Before 2nd Place" includes Jocephus beatin' the hell out of the drums, his big brother Jimbo screaming and slapping the upright bass, and Dennis A. Bell astounding crowds with his "smoke and mirrors" technique on his hollow body Gretsch.

Strange Messenger

Cleve-based power trio, Strange Messenger, delivers catchy riffs with taunting melodies and lyrics. Each song a collaboration of the band's musical diversity.
Bassist and vocalist Rae Martello, CLE music scene veteran (Vivians, Heathers, BackMonkeys), leads the band into resonant, soul-wrenching vocals while laying down a solid bass foundation. Soaring and youthful guitarist Bobby Martello, Jr. (yes, they're related) offers up clean, strong accompanying rhythms while intertwining hypnotic harmonies. Drummer Marc DeCristofaro, CWRU music grad and mechanical mastermind, dabbles in off-beats and accents as he adds an unusual flair to the back beat.
The band radiates an innocent charm characteristic of the twenty-odd years between them. Songs like "Jerk" catches you off guard with its punk-edge, while "Drive-By" swings along, and "Suck City" mimics a social anxiety-filled train ride.
