Hailing from Santa Barbara, California, the power trio known as Spoonful is gaining recognition on the West Coast for their soulful and down to earth vintage sound. Paying homage to the greats (T. Bone Walker, B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, etc.) and taking a lesson from those that followed (The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Cream, Humble Pie, etc.), Spoonful delivers a heavy electric, and at times psychedelic take on the blues, giving audiences something to really tune into.
Zach Doiron delivers tasty guitar licks and soulful and gritty vocals, while Eric White provides the explosive and groovy foundation on the drums. Geoff Levy rounds out the trio by concocting undeniably funky bass lines and belting out bluesy baritone vocals. Together the trio delivers some innovative and danceable music.
With a focus on unique, original compositions, improvisation, extended funky jams, occasional forays into jazz, spacey "out-there" jams, and everything in between, there is something for everyone in Spoonful's music.
Spoonful released their self-titled EP in July of 2018, available on all online musical forums and is currently performing at venues, parties, and festivals in the Western US.
King Dream is a new psychedelic rock project fronted by Oakland native, Jeremy Lyon. The self-titled debut album, co-produced by Graham Patzner is out now!
Cheyenne Skye sings from the heart and writes timeless songs with an equal touch of emotion and humor along with a little sprinkle of her love for nature, and her passion for recognizing environmental issues.
She projects a folky and soulful sound, almost as if Patsy Cline, Nina Simone, Janis Joplin, Devandra Banhart, Jade (from Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeroes), Hurray For The Riffraff, Jim Croche and Rodriguez all had a baby together.
As an original member of the group 'Rainbow Girls', Cheyenne has shared lineups and stages with California Honey Drops, Nikki Bloom and the Gramblers, ALO, Brothers Comatose, Marty O'rielly and the Old Soul Orchestra, John Craige, Handmade Moments, Groove Session, and so much more. She will be singing and stomping all around Western US this Spring and Summer with the release of her new EP, 'Pruned For The Picking', as she launches her solo career as a folk/soul singer-songwriter.
Oakland-based Waterstrider create introspective indie rock. Before starting their upcoming EP, frontman and writer Nate Salman’s life was turned upside down through a series of disasters that culminated into the optimistic, existential themes you'll hear in Waterstrider’s forthcoming EP. Expect dark, lush soundscapes with sleek synths and mesmerizing percussion.
