Tipling Rock is a beach pop band out of Boston, comprised of Ben Andre (vocals/guitar), Dillon Salkovitz (bass), and Tommy Schubert (drums). The boys released their first EP called “Punch Lines & Good Times” in 2015, and garnered even more attention in 2016 with the release of their Summer single “Low Tide Love”. The song was added to Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” playlist, and subsequently spent over a week at #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral charts. Since then, Tipling Rock has gathered 7 million streams on Spotify alone and have released another EP and a handful of singles which have been featured on several Spotify curated playlists including "Viral Hits," "New Indie Mix,” and "Feel Good Indie Rock”. The boys currently have 110,000 monthly listeners and over 7 million streams on Spotify.
On the live front, Tipling Rock have developed a strong performance and are used to headlining shows to crowds of several hundred fans across the Northeast U.S. In NYC specifically. They have also played with Lil Uzi Vert (believe it or not), Sure Sure, Magic City Hippies, flor, Hippie Sabotage, and others.
Wet Leather formed in New York City in 2014, debuting with an EP of bedroom funk recordings which they termed "anxiety-pop." They followed up with the more expansively produced video-singles SHAME and YOURS & MINE in 2015/2016. With music that "leans on the tight, focused pop the Talking Heads explored in their later years" neurotic lyrics and vocals that "swap falsetto for a ’65-era Bob Dylan deadpan squeal"(VILLAGE VOICE), Wet Leather is cerebral but aims squarely for the gut. Secret Preference, their new video and single, owes a musical debt to the over-sexed 80's, but flips the conceptual script with its voyeuristic clip.
