Sam Weber is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Through the characters and anecdotes in his songs, Weber sings about the truths of love, life and family.
He has been touring independently and internationally with his band since 2013. Years spent refining songs at home in North Saanich, BC and working in studios in Los Angeles have honed Weber’s craft to a fine point. His live show pairs heartfelt songwriting with world-class musicianship and 3-part harmony. He has released two LPs to date, Shadows in the Road (2014) and Valentina Nevada (2016). He and his band are touring a new release, New Agile Freedom - EP, this summer.
Tennessee Kamanski is a songwriter from San Diego, currently based in Los Angeles. Her guitar driven, lyrical folk rock is earnest with a sense of humor, wherein even her most frustrated or grieving songs carry an underlying playfulness, hinting at the whole picture- the universal within the most personal. Cool is the Will is her first record released under her own name, and was recorded in her Los Angeles apartment with her creative partner and longtime collaborator, Aaron Dennis. Though classically trained in Italian opera, Tennessee sings like she talks- casually. Her voice is a vehicle for the stories, to which Aaron’s production and instrumentation are the illustrations. Cool is the Will comes out on all streaming platforms on June 2nd, 2019, and will have a limited cassette run.
Abby Litman is a folk singer songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell and landscapes like the northern coast of Maine, her songs weave introspective poetry, intricate guitar melodies, and authentic vocals to invite the listener into her world. Also a visual artist, Abby draws from the aesthetics of american wildflowers and the whimsy of Shel Silverstein to illustrate her original music with ink and watercolors. She released her debut album, "Seasons," in April of 2016, as well as an illustrated lyric book exploring themes of nature, childhood and heartbreak. On June 2nd at the Bootleg Theater, she will be premiering her new music video for the single “The Garden”, projected over a live performance.
Drew Taubenfeld Is a musical director and multi instrumentalist. He has played in the house band for the Emmy Awards and American Idol and as worked as a musical director for Leon Bridges, Maggie, Rogers, Selena Gomez, Meghan Trainor, Logic, Sharen Van Etten and more. While in LA, Drew helps put together a monthly hootenanny featuring some of his favorite artists and musicians.
