Silverthorne Theater Co.
Silverthorne Theater Company is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit professional theater organization based at the Arts Block, 289 Main Street, Greenfield, Massachusetts. We are committed to providing opportunities for meaningful paid work to local and regional theater artists and to contributing to the cultural life and economic vitality of Greenfield and the greater Franklin County area. Our mission is to produce the very best dramatic materials, whether new or from the ranks of established works, that focus on the human condition and bring unheard voices to the stage. These must challenge both audiences and actors to think deeply about their theatrical experience and carry these experiences well beyond the walls of the theater.
$30 opening night benefit
Life is not organized around a coherent narrative, despite how much we would like it to be. Life can be messy, jumpy, nonlinear, fragmentary and discordant, and we might find ourselves desperately trying to make sense out of it. “Tales of the Lost Formicans” reflects this messiness and the effort to make sense of it, both in its content and in its form.
