Passover For All People

Passover For All People

Games, Songs, Food, Discourse, and the ultimate scavenger hunt! A celebration of rebirth and redemption in the on-going journey of freedom for ALL. Join us for a community meal led by Rabbi Andrea of Temple Israel and the Passover Pick-up Band where we will inspire each other through a non-traditional, participatory Passover Seder. We invite everyone of all backgrounds and beliefs to join our table and break bread this April 22nd!

Passover (or Pesach) is an important Jewish holiday commemorating their liberation from slavery in ancient Egypt and their freedom as a nation as told in the Book of Exodus.

A traditional service revolves around the Seder, a ceremonial dinner that includes the placement and eating of symbolic foods, and the reading of the Haggadah. Meaning “telling” in Hebrew, our Passover’s Haggadah has been customized to appeal to people of all faiths and beliefs, and the ancient stories we pass down will serve as poignant metaphors and parables about current events facing everyone. The Seder will give “order” to our dialogue, but the community will determine where our story goes.

Please join us for this communal dinner on April 22nd, open to everyone. Tickets will be $20 for adults and $15 for children and include:

5p-6p - Appetizers & Activities for Children
6p-7p - Storytelling, Singing, Open Band Jam, and Discussion
7p-9p - Mealtime, Merriment, Scavenger Hunt, & Dessert!

Our Passover meal is being generously prepared by Stone Soup Cafè, and Wine by the bottle will be available for purchase. There will be no hametz in the meal, but the Vegan option includes kitniyot and the meat will be local, not kosher.

Please refrain from bringing outside food into the venue.

We look forward to singing, conversing, and sharing our Passover table with you!
