Matt Stillwell, a nationally touring country music artist from Sylva, NC, is a fully independent country music artist. Before he jumped into music, he played baseball at Western Carolina University where he was an All Conference player on the Catamount’s Southern Conference Championship Baseball team. He has recorded seven full length albums, opened for most country superstars, and toured the country several times. He lives in with his wife Lindsey, and two beautiful girls, Carolina and Ruby in Knoxville.
Matt’s debut single “Shine” reached the TOP #50 on Billboard’s Country Charts. The accompanying music video reached #5 on CMT Pure while breaking into the Top 10 on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown. The album went on to pro-duce another Top 50 Billboard single in “Sweet Sun Angel” and two more top videos on CMT Pure with “Dirt Road Dancing” and “Sweet Sun Angel”. The first single “Ignition” from his album "Right On Time" reached the TOP #50 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart and has over 1 million streams. Stillwell’s song “Hey Dad”, written as a tribute to his late father, has over 500,000 streams and the video has over 40,000,000 views online. His current project, “Stillwell EP” is available everywhere you can purchase and consume music online. Physical product is available on his website, www.mattstillwellmusic.net, and at his live shows. The first single from that EP, “Hot Minute”, has already received over 500,000 Streams on Spotify and is the #1 Video on the CMT 12 Pack. He’s cur-rently finishing up songs to complete a brand new album with producer and fre-quent co-writer, Lynn Hutton.
Stillwell has been featured on CBS Sunday Morning, Fox and Friends, Dallas, LA, Minneapolis, and Atlanta TV Morning Shows, and co-hosted an episode of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri on the Food Network (Season 26, Episode 5). In 2017 he became the ambassador for the Cal Ripken Sr. Founda-tion’s “Badges For Baseball” program that puts at risk youth together with law enforcement using baseball as the hook. To date the tour has partnered with Major League Baseball for 14 events and effected hundreds of kids and cops alike. Stillwell will kick off his “Got Your 6 Tour” this spring, partnering with SAE (Sig-ma Alpha Epsilon) across the country. A portion of the proceeds will go to bene-fit The Comfort Crew For Military Kids, and in select markets, The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation.
